At Local Areas Research and Intelligence Conference in University of Warwick, saw how:
- Researchers are using and developing new methods as the agenda changes so they can answer new questions, and some old ones in new ways
- A basic approach can still play an important part: some data, a spreadsheet, the right attitude of mind and the right people round the table can go a long way.
- Research practice is following what organisations with changed policies and resources need;
