AnalyticsCambridge was set up by Richard Potter in July 2011.
Richard has worked in England, Wales and Scotland: for Local Authorities, the Office for National Statistics and the Civil Service. And is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and the British Society for Population Studies and a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society. As a member of the Local Areas Research and Intelligence Association (LARIA) Richard chairs LARIA in the East of England.

Work for LARIA is carried out freely / pro bono. This involves helping the network of LARIA members in the East of England. Includes interaction with Public Health, East of England. From this also through CHAIN - Collaboration of Health Analytics and Intelligence Networks East of England.
